Have you heard? Santa’s little helper is visiting the Norfolk area! From December 1st through 23rd, the elf is visiting fun-filled businesses and some great attractions. December 1: Ready or not the hunt has begun. Can you guess this place that represents a comical guy who was raised in Norfolk.

December 2: Today I’m staying warm and ordered online tickets to a place where I can recline in a comfy seat. Find me snacking on my favorite treats.

December 3: Tuesday’s are for traveling to enjoy food in a nearby town. This place is best known for their onion rings.

December 4: I’m hanging out at a place where I can create my own art. Unfortunately, my artwork isn’t as good as the art pieces on display.

December 5: Today I’m enjoying a bite to eat downtown. On their menu they feature the cow and the pig.

December 6: It’s a little chilly outside, but I love to see the views from this trail. This trail is the longest rail to trail project in the United States.

December 7 & 8: I’m spending my weekend at a newly opened place with an industrial modern look. Come and enjoy some food and make sure you snap a picture with me!

December 9: Monday’s are no fun so, since there’s no sun, I decided to sit by the pool at a hotel.

December 10: Today I’m traveling to getting some ice cream in a neighboring town.

December 11: I’ve decided to learn some of Norfolk’s history today.

December 12: A day full of games = a really fun day

December 13: This place hosts the best week in July.

December 14 & 15: Wow, this place smells amazing! This weekend, I’m hanging out where I’ll be drinking delicious coffee and enjoying some sweet treats.

December 16: Today, I’m going to enjoy at staycation with free breakfast and cozy beds.

December 17: A road trip sounded good today. I’m hiding in a unique museum that has a doll collection that will make you smile.

December 18: Today I’m staying cozy by a fireplace while I read a book.

According to Google, all the Riverpoint downtown restaurants are highly recommended. Each dining experience provides a different taste to satisfy anyone’s taste buds. Here’s a list of all the restaurants you need to try:

This is the perfect place to meet up with a friend or even hang out by yourself. Did I mention they have free Wi-Fi? Another newly added bakery is Mulberry Bakery located on 3rd St. They provide hand crafted baked goods including pies, tarts, cookies, and bars. Their breakfast and beverage menus are also a must during the frosty season! Plus, their holiday menu is now available! If you are ever in the mood for some popcorn, stop at Poppin Delights located on Madison Ave. Find assorted popcorn flavors such as cheddar cheese, caramel, Chicago style, white cheddar, buffalo, ranch, parmesan garlic, and so much more! 4. Bar hop with friends

Experience all the Downtown bars in one night! Start at the 5th Street Tavern then head east down Norfolk Avenue to Lot 279, The Office Bar, Harbor Bar, District Table & Tap, and 411 restaurant. Enjoy a fun environment while also trying out their specialty drinks. Some even provide food menus that pair great with your alcoholic beverage.

5. Play a round of golf at Hit Em Up

For those of you that miss golfing during the warm weather, no worries because Hit Em’ Up Golf has an impressive indoor golf simulator. They offer over 30 PGA courses and a driving range. 6. Take a class at Revitalized studio

Revitalized Studio offers fun art classes for adults and children. Register for an adult party, children’s party, couple’s night, or family night where you create your own craft.
