“Butterflies are deep and powerful representations of life. Many cultures associate the butterfly with our souls. The Christian religion sees the butterfly as a symbol of resurrection. Around the world, people view the butterfly as representing endurance, change, hope, and life.” – Gardens With Wings

Memories in Flight represents the cognizant action of allowing memory to transport us to a different time and place. Allowing ones self to be consumed by the love and gratitude of a person, time, or place. The two forms are actually one being, one firmly standing on the ground and in the world, and the suspended body, and transformation of thought into presence.

The finish is natural rust patina representing truth in material. A semi-gloss clear coat deepens the mahogany and auburn hues, with flecks of green and blue.
