Supplies are readily available at Blick, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and Amazon.
Paints: Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolor set of 6 tubes (highly recommended).
Brushes: Fuumuui 8-Piece Sable paintbrush set, offering a diverse array of shapes ideally suited for watercolor applications (recommended; available on Amazon).
Paper: Strathmore 400 Cold Press Pad (a commendable choice), or Arches 140 lb. Cold Press (the superior option), in 9″x12″ dimensions.
Palette: Any palette with 3 wells, or a porcelain 3-divider plate (the premier choice for ease of cleaning), available at Walmart or Amazon.
Mounting Surface: Gator board or foam core, ensuring the board’s dimensions exceed those of the 9×12 paper.
Masking Tape: Artist’s masking tape (1/2″ or 1″ width).
Drawing Implements: 2H Pencil & eraser.
Ancillary Items: Paper towels, two water containers, and personal snacks & beverages.
