Oktoberfest Weekend – September 20th & 21st
Oktoberfest weekend is a well-known, local favorite for everyone! Keep your kids entertained with inflatables, big wheel races, Weiner dog races, and so much more. You can’t miss the Lion’s Club Parade and Riverpoint Arts Festival. Have a bored teenager? Drop them off at the free teen dance Friday night!

Poppy’s Pumpkin Patch Opening Day – September 17th
Pumpkin patches are always a must once the leaves start changing. Poppy’s Pumpkin Patch offers a wide selection of activities that will keep you and your family entertained. Enjoy the variety of animals, the pumpkin jump, 100 ft slide, and the train depot.
Poppy’s is not just for kids; it also makes for the perfect date! Enjoy seasonal foods such as kettle corn and caramel apples while sharing a cup of hot cocoa. Make sure to stop and shop at the craft buildings for seasonal items and fall decor. This pumpkin patch offers unique attractions that produce memorable photos!

Little Shop of Horrors Performance
Looking for something different for a date night? Enjoy the Little Shop of Horrors musical put on by the Norfolk Community Theater! This classic show is about a floral assistant who encounters a strange, flesh eat plant. As the plant grows, the more blood he needs to survive, and his devious actions lead to an unexpected ending. The Little Shop of Horrors production is the perfect way to start out October and will have you ready for Halloween.

Spend the night at the Elkhorn Valley Museum investigating the paranormal in the gallery, Dederman Cabin, and Verges Park and Cave. This is a perfect way to enjoy the spooky season so make sure you register now (if you dare).

Northeast Spooktacular – October 23rd
The annual Spooktacular is something your kids will be talking about for the rest of autumn. This event is filled with games and activities such as face painting, pumpkin bowling, and more. All ages are invited to enjoy this fun, family event and is located at the Chuck M. Pohlman Ag Complex!

Yuletide Market – November 23rd & 24th
By November, the weather is cold, and we are starting to gather holiday gifts. The Yuletide Market is a local vendor and craft show that showcases unique gifts for your loved ones. This event is the perfect way to kick off your holiday shopping and will be an experience you won’t forget.
